From the South (Trento, Verona) ·
Take exit Egna-Ora on the Brennero highway. At the exit take SS48 of the
Dolomites in direction of Cavalese going uphill by the granite walls of
the Adige valley and going past the San Lugano pass. Before Cavalese it
is possible to traverse the new road at the bottom of the valley that
will take you directly to Predazzo. Another few kilometers and the
Fiemme Valley ends, and Moena begins, the first town being Fassano. At
this point at Moena the distance is 48 km, the most famous route
utilized by frequenters of the Fassa Valley.
From the North (Austria, Germany)
· After having exited the Brennero highway at the Bolzano North toll
booth you turn towards the direction of Trento until you arrive at the
town of Cardano where the highway SS241 begins and continues towards the
Costalunga pass. After the pass you find yourself in the town of Vigo di
Fassa. At the exit of the highway in the town of Vigo there are about
38km. Of these 38 km there are some adventurous parts 4 or 5 km long in
the Valley of Ega canyon, where you will find exciting passages for the
experienced driver.
From the East (Mestre, Venice)
· From A27 Mestre - Exit at the Belluno tollbooth and turn towards the
city of Belluno. Following the signs for Agordi and Cencenighe you enter
the SS203 and then you surpass the two towns going downhill at the San
Pellegrino pass and you arrive at Moena. These roads are not
particularly smooth and there is about 60 kilometers of mountainous
road. If you want you can take a short cut at Cencenighe you can turn
towards Alleghe and the Fedaia pass, but the road is very steep.
By Bus: You can take public buses from the train stations of Trento,
Ora and Bolzano.
